In an article posted on Hypebeast, there is data cited from BLIND BLOG – WORKPLACE INSIGHTS where it surveyed workers from a number of high-profile tech companies asking workers to indicate how many “hours” they are actually working remotely. They provide the raw data and summarize it, but the key finding in the data is this:
42% of tech workers surveyed indicated that they work 4 hours or less per day, when ‘working from home’.

43% of eBay professionals say they work 3-4 hours a day
27% of professionals say they work 5-6 hours a day
50% of Airbnb professionals say they work 5-6 hours a day
15% of professionals say they work 7-8 hours a day
27% of ByteDance professionals say they work 7-8 hours a day
30% of Zoox professionals say they work 9-10 hours a day
11% of professionals say they work 1-2 hours a day
25% of Capital One professionals say they work 1-2 hours a day
